COVID-19 VIDEO PRODUCTION PROTOCOLS
We know it’s been a tough year, and can’t wait for business as usual. Until then, we are still creating and cracking on with your projects. All of our operations are COVID-Safe and intended to create a safe space for us to work together in, so we can continue to do what we love, while minimising and preventing the spread.
The following safety and hygiene protocols must be followed to ensure the safety of all involved:
Pre-shoot
If a person has any flu-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, dry cough etc), no matter how mild, they must not attend the shoot.
Attendees must not have been in contact with anyone that has returned from overseas travel within the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with anyone that has reported flu-like symptoms.
The shoot location is sanitised/cleaned prior to the shoot commencing, eg wiping down high touch surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes.
The location must allow 4 square meters per person in attendance and must be well ventilated.
All props/equipment being used for the shoot are cleaned/sanitised both before and after use.
The location has adequate hygiene facilities, eg hand wash in the bathrooms.
Shoot
Every crew member must sign in upon arrival.
Hand sanitiser and masks are to be available for crew and talent where needed. Attendees must practise social distancing, maintaining a 1.5m distance between others on the shoot at all times, where it does not inhibit their ability to perform their role.
Any time where two people must be within 1.5m of each other for the purpose of their job (eg talent) must be minimised as much as possible. If two people are within 1.5m of each other for more than 15 minutes, this must be logged.
Attendees must wear appropriate PPE (eg face masks) while at the shoot where it does not inhibit their ability to perform their role.
Attendees must practise proper personal hygiene by sanitising/washing their hands at regular intervals or after touching surfaces/using the bathroom.
Attendees must refrain from physical interactions such as handshakes, hugging etc to maintain social distancing.

The COVID-19 situation is ever-evolving, and as such the information in this document is correct and current at the time of sending. By signing this document, you agree to adhere to the above conditions when engaged to work with Third Space Studios and are aware of the risks involved with partaking in a video production during the COVID-19 pandemic. Third Space Studios and its employees forfeit all responsibility for sickness, loss or injury which may occur during the shoot.
